Located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Marshfield, Massachusetts (USA), Anderson Group insures a number of major symphony orchestras throughout the United States, musician associations, collectors and musicians throughout the world. We offer musical instrument insurance for professionals and semi-professional, as well as enthusiasts and students on a performance or musical education career path.
Some of our beneficial services include: coverage rates as low as $.525/$100 USD (lower rates available) per year of insured agreed value; an “all perils” deductible as low as $250 USD, rental reimbursement coverage available; electronic equipment coverage is included; and worldwide “all risk” coverage. Our customers never seem to forget our reasonable premium and policy fee of $125 USD, which covers about $20,000 USD "agreed value" for instruments and accessories.
PREFERRED RATE HIGH VALUE PROGRAM
Based on your fully completed application, you may qualify for a preferred rate if your musical instrument schedule exceeds $150,000 to $1,000,000 and more. If you qualify, rates may be reduced by 30% to 50% or more based on your total insurance schedule value, protection for your instruments, and / or your background and experience. |

INSTRUMENT INSURANCE PROGRAM COVERAGE HIGHLIGHTS
- Our base premium rate of $.525/$100 USD is among the lowest available worldwide.
- $125.00 USD minimum premium including policy fee covers about $20,000 USD in instruments and accessories.
- Deductible, for perils other than common/contract fee based carrier, is as low as $250.00 USD.
- “All Risk”, Agreed Value Coverage provided worldwide
- Diminished value endorsement included at no additional cost
- Appraisals (within 5 years of today’s date) are required within 30 days of coverage effective date (unless we agree to an extension) for string instruments valued at greater than $5,000 USD, most vintage instruments, and some accessories. In all cases, we will let you know if an appraisal(s) is required.
- Newly acquired instruments are automatically insured for 30 days from the date the instrument was acquired, up to $100,000 USD.
- No restrictions for Professional use.
- Flood and earthquake coverage is included at no extra cost.
- Rental Reimbursement coverage is available for the low annual cost of $25 USD which provides up to $600.00 USD per month for up to 12 months subject to timely repair of a covered loss on a damaged instrument, provided that you do not have an equivalent idle instrument.
- Electronic equipment coverage up to $1,000 USD, included at no extra cost, provides coverage not found on a typical musical instrument insurance policy form! Higher limits are available at extra cost.
- Accessories and equipment devoted exclusively to your musical instruments are also eligible.
